The Newtype Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures metal book markers #1-32 (includes spring belt) -- provide easy, convenient access to selections from Science and Health.
Simply place the spring (with the three attached metal "cover bars") around the edge of the pages near the spine, affixing one cover bar in the front, middle, and back of the book. Then, turn to the page you wish to mark and insert the top notch of the marker around the elastic, and then hook in the bottom part of the marker. The marker will swing easily and quietly so you can flip from one citation to the next without interruption.
The Abbott Marker System was invented and patented by Scott Abbott in 1920. This product has been continued used in the study of Christian Science since the 1920's. Each set of metal markers is hand made in the United States by Abbott Marker Systems™.

There's no substitute
There's no substitute for marked books, particularly reading from the desk. And for marked books, these Abbott markers are correct in every way. (Including proper placement of 31/32 and 25/26 in sequence at the bottom!) I visited a branch church recently where the readers were reading from print-outs rather than the books. After the service, they told me they PREFERRED reading from marked books but didn't have markers; they weren't aware that Abbott is operating. It was my privilege to obtain two sets of books for this church and these new markers from Abbott. There should be much more publicity from the Christian Science Church for the invaluable service being provided. THANK YOU ALL!

Smooth and strnog
The markers fit precisely and move smoothly back and forth. It is a subtle but pleasing improvement upon the 40+ year old markers I was using before. The font on the numbers is bolder and easy to see. I’m very pleased with these!

Grateful
This is a high-quality, long-lasting product. It is the only one I know of that can perform so well, and stand up the rigors of weekly marking and daily study of the books. My family is so grateful to have this invaluable tool made available. After decades of use of a set, I've found 2 weak points: While the physical marker is in perfect condition, the numbers sometimes wear off. Don't know if there's a way to make them as permanent as the rest of the marker. The pin in the hinge sometimes slides out. I have slid it back in and crimped the brass tighter around it. They don't pivot as well then, but the pins stay put.

Not what I had expected
This set is the old 30 marker set with numbers 31 and 32 added to correspond with the position of numbers 1 and 2. I had hoped that this set would have 31 and 32 as the bottom- most markers.
