Simply place the spring (with the three attached metal "cover bars") around the edge of the pages near the spine, affixing one cover bar in the front, middle, and back of the book. Then, turn to the page you wish to mark and insert the top notch of the marker around the elastic, and then hook in the bottom part of the marker. The marker will swing easily and quietly so you can flip from one citation to the next without interruption.

Each set of metal markers is hand made in the United States by Abbott Marker Systems™.

PAGE SIZE:
Page Height is the measured distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. Do not measure the cover or include any margins. Only provide the distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the page to the nearest 1/8 inch.
Page Width is the measured distance from the spine to the outside of the page. Do not measure the cover or include any margins. Only provide the distance from the spine to the outside of the page to the nearest 1/8 inch.
Thickness is the measured distance from the first page to the last page. Do not measure the cover. Only provide the distance from first to last page to the nearest 1/8 inch.
MEASURING TIPS
Insert a piece of paper into the book with one edge against the spine. With the book closed, trace the outline of the page. Measure from the outline for more exactly dimensions.

Best Ever Markers
I am so grateful Abbott Markers is once again a going concern. Their markers are well made, perfect for my use in the Bible and Science and Health. I have never, in extensive searching found any better product. The one problem I had (in decades of use) with a spring was resolved without question and in short order.
