The custom size metal book markers -- provide easy, convenient access to selections from the Bible or any size book.  Includes numbers 1 up to 26, made to order from your dimensions.  Includes number markers and spring belt.  Provide us with the book page dimensions and we make a set to fit your book.

Simply place the spring (with the three attached metal "cover bars") around the edge of the pages near the spine, affixing one cover bar in the front, middle, and back of the book. Then, turn to the page you wish to mark and insert the top notch of the marker around the elastic, and then hook in the bottom part of the marker. The marker will swing easily and quietly so you can flip from one citation to the next without interruption.

The Abbott Marker System was invented and patented by Scott Abbott in 1920.   The metal markers have been used by bible scholars, legal professionals, engineers, and anyone needing to quickly and reliably turn to a number of citations in a single book.  Each set of metal markers is hand made in the United States by Abbott Marker Systems™.

The custom size markers are $45.50 plus a $9.50 setup charge. 


PAGE SIZE: 

Page Height is the measured distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the page.  Do not measure the cover or include any margins.  Only provide the distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the page to the nearest 1/8 inch.

Page Width is the measured distance from the spine to the outside of the page.  Do not measure the cover or include any margins.  Only provide the distance from the spine to the outside of the page to the nearest 1/8 inch.  

Thickness is the measured distance from the first page to the last page.  Do not measure the cover.  Only provide the distance from first to last page to the nearest 1/8 inch.

MEASURING TIPS
Insert a piece of paper into the book with one edge against the spine.  With the book closed, trace the outline of the page.  Measure from the outline for more exactly dimensions.

    This is the best marker that I have found, seen or heard of. I like the number of bookmarks I can use without them sliding out of the pages or just falling off when reading. I have just ordered 2 different sizes in the past month. I like to have them in every one of my Bibles I use to study, teach or preach out of. Great product!

    The unusual thickness of the Bible I wanted markers for wasn’t a problem for these markers. I received a call from Abbott to clarify the dimensions and number of markers needed. They are a great fit and move easily back and forth. Not too tight, not too loose.

    This is the second set of markers that I've had. I had a set about 30 years ago for another Bible. They are very handy to use and save a great deal of time in the pulpit.
