Simply place the spring (with the three attached metal "cover bars") around the edge of the pages near the spine, affixing one cover bar in the front, middle, and back of the book. Then, turn to the page you wish to mark and insert the top notch of the marker around the elastic, and then hook in the bottom part of the marker. The marker will swing easily and quietly so you can flip from one citation to the next without interruption.

Each set of metal markers is hand made in the United States by Abbott Marker Systems™.

PAGE SIZE:
Page Height is the measured distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. Do not measure the cover or include any margins. Only provide the distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the page to the nearest 1/8 inch.
Page Width is the measured distance from the spine to the outside of the page. Do not measure the cover or include any margins. Only provide the distance from the spine to the outside of the page to the nearest 1/8 inch.
Thickness is the measured distance from the first page to the last page. Do not measure the cover. Only provide the distance from first to last page to the nearest 1/8 inch.
MEASURING TIPS
Insert a piece of paper into the book with one edge against the spine. With the book closed, trace the outline of the page. Measure from the outline for more exactly dimensions.

Awesome Product!
Abbott Markers makes the best product for marking your Christian Science lesson. If you purchased the Comfort Press Bible and Science and Health books, make sure BOTH the markers for Bible and Science and Health are 5 1/2 wide. I miss measured or ordered my Science and Health too short on the width and now the pages hide the markers, so be careful! These markers will last a lifetime if treated nice.

The instructional video was incredibly helpful and, sure enough, the markers fit my Oxford NRSV Bible perfectly. A big thank you especially to Valerie, who very kindly sent me two additional markers when I realized I needed them for Christian Science service. Great product
I received the markers and they have the same high quality as the set I had 49 years ago. The difference is that before there was a box that came with it to keep the unused markers in order To me the Abbott markers are a need because I have numbness on the tip of my fingers and I struggle to turn the thin bible page to fine the passage when I am speaking. The markers make it possible to pre-mark the passages.

Exactly what I needed
As a newly elected Second Reader I needed a set of markers for a large older Bible. (Not as large as the Reader size). I ordered a custom set and received them a week later. In an email to customer service asking a question I mentioned that I was reading in church and they added in some extra Readers' tabs gratis.
